Jan completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry at the University of Warsaw. His undergraduate research focused on the synthesis of β-lactones and alkenes from carbonyl compounds (B.Sc.), followed by studies on enzymatic reactions (M.Sc.). During his master’s program, he completed a six-month internship at SpiroChem (Switzerland), where he gained hands-on experience in the synthesis of biologically active molecules.
Beyond chemistry, Jan has a strong interest in programming and enjoys reading and long walks in his free time.
