Błażej studied chemistry at the University of Warsaw, where he earned his BSc (2023) and MSc (2024) in the field of organometallic chemistry, conducting his research in the group of Prof. Karol Grela. His work focused on ruthenium-based catalysts and their applications in metathesis, particularly ethenolysis. In 2025, he joined the Gawel Group to pursue a PhD on highly organized multichromophoric systems for organic optoelectronics.
Beyond academia, Błażej is an active instructor in the Polish Scouting Association (ZHP). In his free time, he enjoys travelling, mountain hiking, and analogue photography.
